In this post, we will talk about how you can mine PancakeSwap using your laptop or desktop.
What Is PancakeSwap?
PancakeSwap is a decentralized DEX where you can trade, earn, and win crypto on a popular decentralized platform. You can trade tokens on Binance Smart Chain and earn passive income with your CAKE tokens.

Get Started
Step 1: Getting a Crypto Wallet
You can start with MetaMask as a crypto wallet. Go ahead and download MetaMask as a Chrome extension.

Once installed, let's set up the MetaMask account.
Click on Get Started, and you should see the following screen.
Click on Create a Wallet.
Click on I Agree.
Provide a strong password and click Create.
Click on Next.
You will be presented with a Secret Recovery Phrase screen.
Click on the locked area to reveal the secret words.
Important: Write this phrase on a piece of paper and store it in a secure location. If you want even more security, write it down on multiple pieces of paper and store each copy in different secure locations.
Do not share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone. Anyone who has access to it can potentially access your wallet.
Click on Next.
In the next screen, you will need to enter the Secret Recovery Phrase.
Click on Confirm.
Here we are done with the MetaMask setup.
Now click on All Done.
Step 2: Setting Up MetaMask and Binance Smart Chain
Next, we need to connect MetaMask and the Binance Smart Chain network. Follow the guide below to connect them:

Step 3: Download unMineable Miner
Next, download unMineable. Please use the following official link:
https://www.unmineable.com/miner
Extract the downloaded file and run the .exe file.
Note: You might need to allow the application through your antivirus or Windows Security settings if the executable is being blocked.
Once you start the application, you will see the following screen.
Next, select either GPU or CPU to mine.
On the next screen, select the PancakeSwap token and provide your wallet address.
To find your wallet address, open MetaMask, select Account 1, and click Copy Address to Clipboard.
You can also provide an optional referral code. According to the original article, the code reduces the developer fee from 1% to 0.75%.

Finally, click on Start. You should see the following screen.
Once mining starts, you should be able to see the PancakeSwap balance.
To view your unMineable statistics, click the Stats button. You will be taken to unMineable, where you can see the mining details and statistics.
